October 26

Well I did tell him to hold it in a non-threatening manner!😉 Stephanie and Neal were back this morning to finish their Billet Knives. These are absolutely gorgeous blades! Fantastic job from both of them!

Crystal and Chris were back today! Chris continued working on his damascus knife. He got so much done, and will finish it next time. Crystal made some cigar rings, three matching mother-daughter rings, and a pendant!

Great group from Kalsec today! (And a rare Monday class ) They made beautiful Steel Flowers for a teambuilding activity!

Troy was back this morning to start his first Billet Knife! He did great! He's back tomorrow to finish it up. It's going to be beautiful!

Such a fun class with this group of friends tonight! They tried all sorts of new things by making Steel Flowers!

I told you this was going to be a beautiful knife! Troy finished this morning. The blade itself is beautifully forged and super sharp. He did a stacked handle, using purple heart, walnut, and copper, with a steel endcap. He did an absolutely fantastic job. It is just stunning!

What a great couple tonight! Heather and Heather got a Railroad Spike Knifemaking class as a gift. Fantastic knives, and wonderful people!

Chris did a fantastic job in the forge today! He got his railroad spike knife hammered, ground, and finished in just over an hour! Beautiful profile on it too!

We always love 3 generations in the forge! And Josh, his son, and his father were a lot of fun! All three made really beautiful knives!

 

November 1

Dennis and Megan were back today to make Scary Cheese Knives! They did such a good job, especially on that taper!

Very fun class with Kyle and Issac! Last time they made short swords. Today they started their Broad Swords! Kyle got his all hammered out. Issac will finish up the handle, etc, next time. Lots of hammering this time...lots of grinding next time!
