Scott was back on Sunday to continue working on his feather damascus! This is definitely a "trust the process" project!

4/8/25

Brotherly bonding tonight at the forge. These two did so great tonight making their first knives!

4/9/25

George came all the way from England to make Railroad Spike Knives with us for his birthday! Ok, not exactly. Rebecca brought him. George IS from England, and it IS his birthday today, but he's local now. They were so much fun this afternoon! And they both made beautiful knives! They both said their knives reflected who they are.

4/9/25

Alexander and his older brother, Leonard, were back today to continue working on their damascus blades. They are flying through the damascus process! Alexander finished shaping the dagger in the forge, and then got through grinding, heat treat, and finish sanding. He is doing a low layer damascus pattern. It's very dramatic! Leonard is doing twisted Damascus. So he got that done, shaped it in the forge, and finished grinding. Next week they will both finish up.

4/10/25

Fun morning with 2 of the Level 1 homeschoolers! Ellie made her railroad spike magic wand, and Ben made his first railroad spike knife!

4/10/25

Emilee was back today to make a Scary Cheese Knife! She left the blade and sides of the handle rough, but polished the spine and top of the handle. It's beautiful!

4/10/25

Dan was back tonight to finish his Billet Knife. Love the shape! He brought in some mango wood for the handle. This is just a gorgeous knife!

4/11/25

Jennafer and her son was so fun to have at the forge this afternoon! They made Steel Flowers for Spring Break.
