Week of May 3 - 10

5/8/25

Last class for the 14-17 yr old Level 1 Homeschool class! It was their turn to make Scary Cheese knives. They did a great job today, and the whole year. We will be seeing them in the fall for Level 2!

5/8/25

Breanna was back tonight to finish up a Mother's Day gift for her mom. She made an indestructible walking staff! This thing is fantastic! Reverse twist on the staff, with a "claw-ish" head, holding a resin ball Breanna made.

5/9/25

Jonathan was in this afternoon to learn welding. He did great with the practice, and then on to the pencil holder!

5/9/25

Three generations tonight -- and this time it was for Grandma! This family was just so much fun to have in the forge! Paula had always wanted to forge a knife, so her son and grandsons arranged the class as a gift to her. Her cousin and daughter-in-law were the designated family photographers.

5/10/25

Nathaniel and Brandon came up from Indiana this morning to learn some basic blacksmithing skills. They made great "S" hooks!

5/10/25

Great couple of friends in the forge this afternoon! They both made beautiful, and very sharp, blades!
