It's always a great class with Dan! He's always up for learning what new skill he can in the forge. So this afternoon, he started his first damascus knife! He wants a bold, dramatic pattern, so we started with 9 layers of 1080, 1084, 1095, and 15n20. He got that forge welded and folded one time, to make 18 layers. Next time he'll shape the blade.
