Tye and Matt were back today to start Billet Knives! They're doing a great job and will add handles next time.

Asia is back to learn all the skills of the forge. So today she learned how to weld! She did great, and added some texture to her pencil holder.

Tye and Matt finished their Billet Knives today. These are beautiful knives! They both did really well!

Neal finished his billet knife today! Its a santoku style blade, with a bushcraft finish, and wood handle. Beautiful!

Final day of the Allegan County 4-H classes for the summer, sponsored by Michigan State University Extension. This morning was beginner blacksmithing making "S" hooks! Fun group of kids and they did remarkably well for their first time around a forge!

Dirty faces and beautiful steel flowers -- must be a 4H Steel Flower Class! This was the last Allegan County 4-H class of the summer. Really fun group this afternoon!
