November 16
Yay! The whole family has now been in the forge! Scott and Harlie were back to work on their knives. And now the last member of the family finally came. Sam did a great job learning the basics by making an "S" hook. Then she made 2 Candy Canes!

More family time in the forge! Crystal and Chris' son came with them today. He made one of the shiniest Railroad Spike Knives I've seen! Crystal made a couple of candy canes! And Chris finished his gorgeous damascus blade! Its beautiful, but, man, you feel powerful holding it! Great job!

Andy was back this afternoon to finish his damascus knife! It's beautiful! 18 layers, with an Ipe handle.

Justin and Tyus were given a railroad spike knife class as a gift by Justin's girlfriend/Tyus' sister. They did a fantastic job!

Birthday Knifemaking! Kelsey brought Brayden in today for his birthday. They both made beautiful Railroad Spike Knives!

4 homeschoolers. 2 fires. 4 Damascus billets. 120 degrees. Lots and lots of water and fun! Busy morning!

Because Thanksgiving is next Thursday, the older Level 2 Homeschool class came today. Ben finished hammering out his damascus blade shape, got through grinding, and to the final acid etch. Cruz got all of his folds done on his damascus, and most of the blade shaped. Nicely done to both of them!

Birthday Knifemaking! Rachel brought her husband, Jeff, in this morning to make Railroad Spike Knives for his birthday! Super shiny knives!

Daren was back today! Last time he made a railroad spike knife. Today is made a fantastic Scary Cheese Knife! Really nice artistic choices!
